Personally I have to go with Superman, I loved superman as a kid I always wanted to be a man with superhuman strength, the ability to fly or stop a locamotive...To bad reality set in LOL.

When you say the best, what do you mean? Do you mean the most powerful, the best morals, the best skilled, the best team player, the best leader, the best problem solver, or something else? I think Dr. Manhatten is the most powerful superhero, Superman probably has the best morals, Batman or one of the X-men may be the most skilled, one of the X-men would be the best team player, Professor Xavier seems like he would be the best leader, and Batman would be the best problem solver.

What I mean by best is your personal favorite.

Oh. Thanks for clearing that up. I would have to choose Batman then. I have no idea why I like him though. It might have to do something with his lack of superpowers, although I don't see why that would make me like him better. I guess it sets him apart from others superheros.

Batman is the one Superhero that shows that humans can be superheros even without superpowers, just technology, strength and brains. He would be my second choice.

He is not the only Superhero without powers. Just the most popular and the one that has lasted the longest. Other such powerless superheroes are The Shadow, The Phantom, Green Hornet, Doc Savage, ShadowHawk (the original), and The Punisher.

I have not read many comics books either (I think 4 within my life). I just pick up some useless trivia every now and then.

I can only remember the Star Wars Episode 1 Comics and the Bionical Lego Comics from a will back. I may have read one or two others.

So, besides what you have listed previously, what do you know about Superman? I mean like his strengths, weaknesses, powers, enemies, defeats, etc.

I mostly know the basics, like the Kryptonite. I know a little about his home planet, Krypton. He can't see through lead. I probably know more, but I can't think of anything right know.

BATMAN IS THE BEST IN MY OPINION. Because even though he isn't super strong like Superman, he can take a hit of Cryptonite. You wave a shard at Superman, and he shrivels up like a prune, and cowers like a scaredy school girl.

I think the all time best superhero is Superman, but since we are asking our favourite, mine is Spider-Man.
When I was a kid I wanted to be Spider-Man, and I love the villains. I like the movies too. I don't know exactly why I like him, I have arachnophobia, but his most recent video game, Spider-Man 3, rocked, his movies are just ok, but the way Spider-Man crouches, hands, sticks to walls are all to my liking. Plus he's in New York, instead of a false place, like Gotham.
Aunt May is neat too.

I think the all time best superhero is Superman, Maybe, but I personally think that Captain Marvel might have been a little superior. Sure, he was a little weaker than Superman, but he did not have a weakness towards magic or any element(that I know of). Although with the new kryptonite impervious Superman, that may have changed.

I think I only said that because he's so well known, so many (real world) people love and know him, too.
I thought superman died? Fighting Doomsday... lots of people did. Sort of horrific?
Either that or superman died in a tank of Kryptonite.
