Age of Mythology is a game much like Age of Empires but is uses Mythical creatures too. You are a science and you get mini sciences with a power to attack, curse, or help the world you are battling in.

That gives a lot more help then just saying, "play this game."

It's funny the only why to really learn how to play is to play it. But a tip to the game is to hold on to your science powers to the point where you know you really need it most.

AOM (Age of Mythology) is just a poor attempt to make a new version of AOE (Age of Empires). The armies you make are limited to a much smaller size. But most annoying of all is that unlike AOE you can't build a Town Center anywhere you want. It has set places for you. Town Centers are where you create villagers which do all the work. The mythological units are very cool though.
The expansion Age of Titans helps a bit though. To make up for the small amount of units you can build a huge titan such as Cerebus. But without an opponent with a brain its not worth it because the AI almost never creates a titan so its really one sided.

Yeah, aom is kindof just an attempt to make money off the amazing title aoe. If you realy want a fun war game aoe is the way to go. And once you get bored of the comps, the msn online play is second to none, especialy for a 1999 title ;D
