Star Wars Knights of the Old republic is one of the best games I've ever played. It is a thrilling rpg with a gripping story and cool new ships and planets. After finishing this I had to get the sequel, I found the same thrill I had for the first was no longer there but it was a fun game none the less.

I have beaten both games as well. In my opinion, the second story is not inferior to the first, in some ways it may have been better, but you also had to search deeper to get to the good stuff. However, the way in which the story was revealed in the second game is inferior. The second game also had better mechanics. In the first, I got stuck behind party members all the time, as well as if I played it for extended amounts of time it would freeze up on me. There were a few other anomalies, but those are hardly worth mentioning. The only problem I had with the game is sometimes the enemies would stop attacking, but I think that is caused by a faulty console since that has happened on other games. They improved the side quests in the second one, as well as made it so you could affect your party members alignment (except Kreia, I could never get her out of neutral). However, they made the second one a little too easy for my tastes... Maybe if I rush though it, it would be a challenge.

I loved both, but I thought the story was better in the first yet the second had better updates. I was expecting more from the second when I played it.

No I don't think so but if you want to play Star Wars Online you could play Star Wars: Galaxies, I've heard it is fun.
About KOTOR I heard a rumor about a 3rd game does anyone know anything about that?

All I was able to find was unsubstantiated rumors. If you are interested in learning more about the possibility of KOTOR 3 I would recommend searching www.bioware.com. I wasn't able to search for very long because of time restraints.

The end of the 2nd felt like an opening to the next game to me. Talking about war in the outer rims and that you and revin may fight there.

I noticed several things in KOTOR2 that may be hints to a third game. However, I did not complete the quest of Revan's disappearence, so those hints; those unanswered mysteries may have been answered in Revan's quest. In fact, I think I will play it again just to finish that quest.

Which quest is Revan's Quest?

Oh, I don't think it is really a quest per se. It is more like the background mystery for KOTOR2, much like the builders were in KOTOR. However, I found it a lot easier to miss the clues in KOTOR2 than it was in KOTOR. The first time I played through KOTOR2 I missed almost all the clues. The second time I found some of the clues, but still missed some. A third play-through with me having a skilled based character and choosing how I develop Revan carefully should give me the rest of the clues. Of course, Kreia may have told everything about Revan at the end of the game, but it's always safer to check all your bases.
